Can my Chromebook run the desktop app? Follow
Long story short: No, it can't. Chromebooks aren't designed for heavy workloads.
Here's why: The Chromebook by Google uses a proprietary operating system (OS) that cannot run any applications made for other platforms (such as Windows or macOS). It's specialised for Google tools (such as Gmail and other office applications), so to run our software on a Chromebook, we'd have to develop a Chromebook-specific desktop app from scratch. Sadly, this means the desktop app can't currently run on this type of computer and won't be able to in the foreseeable future.
Solution: You can run our mobile app from a Chromebook. If you don't know how to install an app, you can learn more on this link: https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/7021273?hl=en
