This video will show you how to import music from Dropbox (MP3 files)
The following topics will be explained below:
- Connect to Dropbox
- Adding music to Dropbox
- Importing music
- Music mapping
1) Connect to Dropbox
If you have not done it already, the first thing you need to do is to connect your Dropbox account.
If you do not already have one you can create one for free with 10GB free space (which amounts to about 3.000 songs). You will be asked to connect to Dropbox when you hit the "Dropbox icon" in the Session Designer:
2) When you connect to Dropbox from Intelligent Cycling, Dropbox automatically creates a folder called "APPS" and when you open that folder you will find "INTELLIGENT CYCLING". This is where you should move all your music. This is the only folder in your Dropbox account Intelligent Cycling has access to!
3) Importing music
When you have moved your MP3 files to the "Intelligent Cycling" folder in Dropbox your songs will appear in the import window in the Session Designer. Your music is on the left side and you can now click any song to add it to your playlist on the right-hand side. Use drag and drop to change the order of the songs added to your playlist. Click import when done!
4) Music Mapping
When the playlist has been imported into the Session Designer you can see the relevant details of each track (title, artist, length and BPM) in the list of songs below the workout. Under the timeline, you will see an audio waveform. The wave is a graphical representation of the energy of the music as the volume rises and falls. This can be very helpful when you design your workout based on a playlist. To get started building your workout, simply move the timeline indicator bar and hit play!
Warning
If you delete a song from your folder in Dropbox after the workout has been created, the playlist will be "incomplete". This means a song will be missing in the playlist when playing the workout. You can fix the problem by simply moving the song back to the right folder.
