Spotify Communication Error on Mobile Device Follow
When starting a workout on your mobile device using your Spotify account, a communication error on Spotify's side might occur. If this happens, you'll receive this message:
To remedy this, we need to use a different communication stream with Spotify. Follow these instructions to get the music playing on your device:
Step 1
From the Intelligent Cycling home page, tap on the hamburger menu in the upper right corner and then App Settings.

Deselect 'Autostart Spotify':

Open your Spotify app on your mobile device and begin playing music to activate it.
Step 4
Back on the Intelligent Cycling app, find the workout you'd like to use and press play. You will be asked which device you'd like to play it on. You want to choose 'Select another device'. If you choose 'Play it on this device', you will experience the same communication error.
Step 5
Once you tap 'Select another device' you should see your mobile device as an option. Tap that and then tap 'Start Workout' and the music and workout will begin on your device.
