Spotify "communication error" Follow

What does "communication error" mean?
When you start a workout in the Intelligent Cycling app with a Spotify playlist, Spotify checks if its app is installed on the same device (only for mobiles and tablets). If Spotify is installed, it tries to connect directly and start the music. Occasionally, this connection fails, and Spotify returns a "communication error" message.
To resolve this, follow these steps:
- Go to https://login.intelligent-cycling.com/profile/connections and log into your Spotify profile.
- Open the main menu in the Intelligent Cycling mobile app and select "APP SETTINGS".
- In app settings, disable "AUTOSTART SPOTIFY".
- Start your workout, and when prompted, choose SELECT ANOTHER DEVICE to play the Spotify playlist.
- Select your phone from the list of devices.
This should solve the issue, and the music should start playing as expected.
