How to use RACETRACK Follow

Race against the clock and your friends with our all-new Race Player: RACETRACK. Add a bit of friendly competition to any ride with a stripped-back, minimalistic design that’s all about the race.

How to find the RACETRACK player

If RACETRACK is available to you, you will find it by entering the menu "Freestyle" in the Desktop App's top menu (on tablet, Freestyle is located in the footer menu) and then clicking play on the RACETRACK player. 

Before the race

When selecting the RACETRACK player, you will be asked to set a "lap distance" and "race duration". The software has some pre-defined distances and durations you can choose from. If they do no fit your need, you can add a custom distance and duration. Another option is to run a pure "lap" race, leaving the time to finish the race up to the riders performance. 

How to connect to the race

Members will connect to the race using the Ticket To Ride. The number will be visible at the top of the RACETRACK throughout the event. Members can be displayed with either their first 3 name-letters or a uniqe number. This setting is selected in the main menu in the Desktop App.

Main features

The player will show the following features

1. Ranking of riders, position, distance travelled and number of laps completed
2. Ticket To Ride number to join the race
3. Race duration and number of riders connected
4. The racetrack with each riders position. The first 3 is marked with 1st, 2nd and 3rd
5. RaceTrack live shows announcement during the race
6. Player menu with options to "quit" or "restart" the race

Race Podium

The race will end with a podium celebration of 1st, 2nd and 3rd place

Members view on mobile devices

Each member joining the race, will see:

1. Their race-number at the top of the app (if numbers are used for the race)
2. Their current position in the race and distance to the person just in front and behind them.
3. The center circle will show their total distance and current speed!
