How to control your FREESTYLE ride from your mobile device Follow
Freestyle is operated from the instructor's mobile device, allowing instructors to lead seamless, effective classes with graphics support – no pre-planning required. There are two ways to control the main screen at your studio from your mobile device:
- Data Sync: Utilizes your bike's data for real-time workout graphics. Requires consistent zone maintenance by the instructor.
- Mobile App Control: Use the Intelligent Cycling Mobile App to choose displayed colour zones. Offers more coaching flexibility.
How the individual buttons work
The features from the top are:
Workout Graph: This shows already completed intervals according to colour/zone and seated/standing position.
Timer/Laps: The timer lets you keep track of your intervals on the fly. If you click "lap", the main timer will be restarted, while the smaller timer will keep track of the total time.
7 zones: Below the timer, you will find the 7 zones indicated with L1-L5, "fire", and "crazy owl". In this example, zone 4 (yellow) is selected as the active target (see screenshot).
Position: Use the three circles at the bottom to relay information about position (seated/standing). If you use "Live RPM", ACC for Acceleration can also be used. Note: For SANDBOX, ACC is replaced by a "downhill" button.
Live Data: To the right, under "L4", you will find "Live intensity" and "Live RPM". These are only available when connected to a Bluetooth device. Tap the Bluetooth icon at the bottom of the screen to connect to your device. Once connected your power/%FTP/Heart Rate/%HRmax will be displayed in the bottom left and RPM in the bottom right. If you click the "Live intensity" button, the target will now mirror your current intensity – the same with RPM. If needed, you can flip between "live" and "manual" by clicking the same buttons.
